I study how people encounter and interpret information, and how social or technological contexts influence these processes.
I've recently joined the Department of Communication at the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor, focusing on science, environment, and risk communication.
I currently conduct research examining European misperceptions in politics, health, and science. Previously, I was Martin Fishbein Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennslyvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center, focusing on science communicincation.
