I study how people encounter and interpret information, and how social or technological contexts influence these processes.

I'm a member of the Department of Communication at the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor, focusing on science, environment, and risk communication.

I currently conduct research examining European misperceptions in politics, health, and science. Previously, I was Martin Fishbein Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center, focusing on science communication.
